The journey of growing a family is a tapestry of emotions which everyone experiences in their own way – a unique weave of joy, anticipation and challenges.
I’m here to walk beside you as you navigate your individual experience ensuring you are empowered through knowledge, understanding and strong foundations – the fundamentals of a safe birth.
Although my official doula journey began in 2022 when I finally answered my calling, I soon realised I’ve always been a doula in so many ways.
I’ve long been fascinated by pregnancy birth and beyond, and my own pregnancies and births were just the beginning of the opening of the window into the birth world.
I can truly say that I learn and grow from every family that I’m privileged enough to work with – none more so however than from my own beautiful family who inspire me every day, and without whose inspiration and support this work would not be possible.
I’m passionate about the right for all to have an empowered birth experience through informed choice; whichever path birth may take.
I offer care antenatally in preparation for labour, will be on call for the birth of your baby and can be available to give postnatal care into the ‘fourth trimester’.
I believe it’s important to honour the transition into parenthood for the new or growing family — this is a magical transformation for everyone.
I believe women should tread this path with loving support, and that partners should not have to bear this burden solely upon their shoulders. I hope that I can help to empower, support and nourish on this sacred journey.
